You both agree it is over, and you agree on the terms. You want it done right without spending months in court. We handle it from the first conversation to your signed Judgment of Divorce.

What's included

• Attorney consultation to review your situation and confirm you qualify
• All required New York divorce papers, including the Summons, Verified Complaint, Affidavit of Defendant, Affidavit of Plaintiff, and supporting forms
• Filing with the court on your behalf
• Court filing fees and process server fees are not included and are paid separately
• Signature coordination, so you know exactly where and when to sign
• Submission of the Judgment of Divorce for the judge's review
• Your final Judgment of Divorce once it is signed

Not the right fit if

• You and your spouse have not reached full agreement on property, support, or any other issue. Mediation can help you get there first.
• You have children and custody or child support has not been fully agreed. These matters need additional documents and compliance with New York's Child Support Standards Act.
• You have significant shared assets, such as retirement accounts, real estate, or a business, that have not been formally addressed.

For spouses who have agreed on every term and want those terms written into a complete Stipulation of Settlement, prepared and reviewed by an attorney, before the divorce is filed.

What's included

• Attorney consultation to confirm eligibility and review your agreed terms
• Attorney review of your terms for legal sufficiency under the New York Domestic Relations Law
• Drafting of a full Stipulation of Settlement reflecting every term you agreed on
• All required New York divorce papers, including the Child Support Worksheet if applicable
• Filing on your behalf (court filing fees and process server fees are not included and are paid separately)
• Paperwork prepared to the standard New York courts require, to help avoid rejections and delays
• Signature coordination, submission of the proposed Judgment of Divorce, and delivery of your final Judgment once the court approves it

Not the right fit if

• Any term is still unresolved, including property, spousal support, custody, or child support. Mediation can help you reach agreement first.
• Your terms involve assets that need formal valuation or a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO), such as a business interest or pension.
• You want to renegotiate the terms you agreed to. A consultation with an attorney is the better first step.
